This year passed really really quickly!
Studying for O's took up so much time please, didnt really had any time left to play.

Ok no come to think of it, i didnt studied quite as hard as i wanted afterall.
Studying with friends were usually spent talking, studying overnight were usually spent
sleeping, studying alone were usually spent stoning. Tskk.

And not to forget, i played quite alot too, LAN gaming.
Cos of Hanwee's influence, there was the spread of L4D addiction throughout the year.
There was a time i thought i was like the best player ever cos of how much i played.
Later on, there was Battlefield addiction, and DotA addiction as well.

So yeah, thats about how i got through 2009. Here's a rough summary:

1st Jan 2009, Studying, A1 for Amath for the first time, Getting proud, L4D-ing,
Battlefield-ing, DotA-ing, Birthday, Back to F9 for Amath again, Got shocked, Prelims,
Farewell Assembly (cried like mad), Olevels, Dye hair, Prom night, Japan trip, 31 Dec 2009.

See how fast the year passed for me?

Alright, let's just hope year 2010's gonna be a better year!
Even though i used to shout out loud that i love poly life, im most probably going to a jc
this year, if possible. Cooool, im back to being a student again.
But then again, it all depends on my Olevels results.

Better late then absent you know you know.

Okay, anyways, met up with Chinkoon, Hweexian, Yuzhen, Baohui, and Zhiqing at City Link
and was late as usual, like duh, what else do you expect uh.
Had dinner and train-ed to Marina Bay, cos Baohui suggested coundown-ing at Barrage.

Okay. Tsk this one abit gay, but its nothing compared to a photo below below.



At Marina Bay mrt, we realised that the free shuttle bus service to Marina Barrage ends
at 7.30pm and it was already like 10pm++.
Somehow we actually thought of walking to the Barrage but you know, outside Marina
Bay mrt there are lots lots lots of construction sites so yeah, means there's
also lots lots lots of horny workers there.
Ended up cabbing instead cos Zhiqing and Yuzhen couldnt take it being scanned from
head to toe by like 100 workers sitting at the roadside, lying against lampost, etc.

Marina Barrage!

Played catching and stuff cos we were too bored waiting for 12am, not to mention the mood
was kinda dampened by those who last minute decided not to come.
Managed to keep ourselves entertained somehow, all the way till 12am.

But!
The sad thing is that it seems like we kinda totally missed the countdown!
Our timing is like totally wrong to the maxx.
On our watches it said 11.58pm but we could suddenly hear people counting down at
the ground floor. We decided to follow our own watches instead of the
crowd so when we're counting down, no one else was!
Damn awkward.

Joonhoung came later on, at around 12.01am.

Knowing Joonhoung will arrive pass 12am, Baohui said: "Eh eh eh, later when Joonhoung is in sight, we pretend to countdown from five, see how he will react."

Just then, we saw Joonhoung walking briskly towards us.

"FIVE!"

"FOUR!"
Started to jog towards us.

"THREE!"
Jogging alittle faster now.

"TWO!"
He gave up and started walking again.

He was like 5 metres away giving the ohh-mann-i-missed-it expression.

It was damn funny! But damn awkward, worser than the first countdown.
Everyone was probably wondering why the hell are we counting down again after we just
did it like 30 seconds ago.

Im flying to Japan in a few hours' time and wont be back till 11 December/12 December.

Preparation for prom definitely sucks but prom night itself is great!
Not sure if its worth my $230 shopping expenses and $80 entrance fee though ._.

Honestly. The food. SUCKS.

I was only 1/5 full by the time everything was over.
And the disco thingy dont have any korean songs, i'll have to deduct more marks for that.
Kinda surprised they didnt play any slow pace songs too, everything was just so 'club'.

The best thing about prom is probably seeing all your friends (duh).

The day started with Keith, Jeremy, Desmond, Zhiyuan and me gathering at Calvin's
house by 2pm. Like his house is the 'base' or something.
Supposed to get our hair done at some salon in Toa Payoh but was delayed like mad
because of Calvin's addictive Call of Duty. See luh, comp so many games for what!
By the time we reached the salon, its already obvious we would be late.

Started to prepare there when the time
was 6.30pm, the same time we were actually supposed to reach Conrad -.-
Finally left Calvin's house at 7pm (late like mad) and tried to hire a Maxim cab,
which is some 7-seater taxi i think, but failed cos 7pm is peak hour.
Being desperate, we stood on both sides of the road like idiots waving like mad whenever
a vacant taxi drove near. In the end we went there in 2 different cabs.
My cab was with Desmond and Keith.

Rested at Raffles City MacDonalds and saw Cheryl, Chloe and Amanda (CCA) there.

Went to Esplanade later on and coincidentally met Ben, Chloe and Liko there.
Because we have too much time to spare (from midnight till 6am), we walked back to
Raffles City again for the comfy chairs and aircon-ed environment of Starbucks.
Note: Ben and the 2 girls didnt come with us, they're still there by themselves! Woo~

Crapped with the guys and Cheryl of CCA at SB till 6am and left for home in
the first few trains. Yup, thats about it.

that night so sometimes when people asked me to take photos i will reply,
